Your student is now ready for their new agenda.  Grades 2-5 have had theirs since the beginning of the year.  The cost of the agendas is $3-please just stick in an envelope and send to school with your students name on it.  The agendas are a great tool to help our students with the life principle of responsibility.  Thanks for your help in sending the money in quickly!!

Welcome to Mrs. Taylor’s first grade!  I am glad that you have visited our site.  We are off to a great start.  We have completed our first basal reader in our Reading series.  We have completed our addition and subtraction units in Math.  We are moving on to more difficult words in Spelling.  We are also completing our first unit in Social Studies.  In the month of October we have been focusing on fire safety, seasonal changes, the growth of an appleseed, pumpkins and Halloween.  We will be doing activities involving pumpkins during the week of October 26 so please make sure that your student has a pumpkin at school to use by Thursday, October 22.  Also, as a reminder, parent/teacher conferences will be held next week on Thursday evening and Friday morning.  A confirmation was sent home to help you remember.
